Say It

If you don’t like me,

Say it to my face.

Got a problem with me?

Say it to my face.

Don’t want to talk to me?

Say it to my face.

If you hate me, wish I was dead,

would disappear to never return again,

Say it to my face.

If I’ve been a bad friend, annoyed you,

or offended you with my actions or my words,

Say it to my face.

Because life would be a whole lot clearer

if I knew what I was dealing with.

So just open up your mouth

and tell me.

I’ve told you before, I value your honesty.

I want to know, so speak your words,

whether they are hurtful or in spite,

I don’t care.

Quit spreading rumors because I’m

the one you have a problem with.

Well, I’m listening.

Just say it to my face.
