Saturation, High And Low

Subdued

A dryer hue

Saturation

Sucked straight through

I am

Grey

While they

All look so bright

It hurts my eyes

So I shield them

And scowl in distaste

Towards their intensity

Can you tell me why

Everyone loves to feel so

Flashy

I agree,

Monotony is grueling

But when I’m not grey

I stare

Right at the sun.

Can I just land

Somewhere in the middle?
