Salvation

Philippians 2:12-13

Light Bearers

12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed,

not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence,

work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;

13 for it is God Who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

Working on your salvation and not taking any sides

Is like walking on the water with concrete on your feet

A way to sure frustration blown by all winds of doctrine

Confusing every issue wishing self and me God’s speed

The reality is the choosing whose side you’re on

Either loving flesh or in the hunger of the redeemed

The appetite for Godliness to be delivered of all sin

With the help of the Holy Spirit is not too hard it seems
