Sacred Curtain

Nobly and drab,

heavy curtain

hangs toward justice.

Righteousness hides

primitive desire’s

poetry read to the meter

of heartbeat.

Sacred service, trust,

churning guilt at the ignition,

heavy curtain and a spark

fantastic fire of imagination.

Feminine and lustful

smoke contouring her

makes me pray.

Devotion to a Will,

myself forsaken,

you are the potter;

I am the clay.
