Rushing In

Water’s rushing in

Filling the holes

Blinding the eyes

Hurting the soul

Water’s rushing in

Leaving the innocent helpless

Or even the guilty

Water doesn’t care who you are

Water’s rushing in

Add some soap

Make it a bubble bath

But the soap blinds too

Water’s rushing in

Try to stop it

Block the holes

Water doesn’t stop

Water’s in

Breathing isn't an option

For how can you breathe with

nothing to breathe from?

Water’s taking over

Fire starts from within the soul

You better put that out

More water to douse the flames?

Water’s doing what it does

It rushes in

And if you aren’t strong enough

It will win
