The Rules of Life

Do you know what you've done to me?

A simple "ok" is enough to hurt me, I guaruntee

But your lack of interest is frustrating

The way you express your feelings is fascinating.

How I don't understand the signals you send

I think you dislike me

So the same to you, I pretend.

It shouldn't be this way

And the rules of life, everyone should obey

You are not a special exception

And loving you is a self-deception.
