In the Rose Garden

Mon, 07/08/2013 - 18:48 -- kiana_8

In the rose garden I will be

Here where I watch from afar

As he silently walks over

Here are roses no thug would mar

Their petals glisten and shimmer

Carefully watching me, us

He picked a rose, looking at me

He on bent-knee, I said yes Russ

Audience of roses sighed

The bright sun began to set

Exhaling breaths we all kept in

So glad that I lost my bet
