In a room full of people

In a room full of people, she feels all alone,

in the back by the wall, where she is never known.

In a room full of people, she sits by herself,

slowly drifting away from everyone else.

In a room full of people, she feels walls close in,

nobody to tell, with no help to lend.

In a room full of people, her mind starts to slip,

yet she sits quiet still, no words on her lips.

In a room full of people, she feels all alone,

She won't be back tomorrow, yet she won't return home.
