Smoke,
Rolling off the tongue,
The taste of blackened ash.

Endorphins filling my brain,
A long sigh,
Sparks burning my thigh.

My lungs crusted with red,
The last puff rises,
My mind clear of stress.

I lay down peacefully,
Knocked out indefinitely.
That night was cold.
