A Rock for Which I Am to Stand

Sat, 12/31/2016 - 15:09 -- Senit

A past year of endless blessings,

And I find myself guessing

of how the new spring rains will shower upon my life.

I am a Child of God,

And I find myself questioning

in which ways I will grow in the garden of His love.

A sturdy trellis made for me

And I am not seeing

In which way I will look into His light.

A past year of endless blessings

And I find myself knowing

that I am tended to beyond compare.

I am a child of God,

And I find myself appreciating

the unconditional guidance and support of His love.

A sturdy trellis I need no longer,

Because I have matured to see

Both the rigorous path I still have yet to grow,

And the vast faith that will guide me.
