As the road shortened found poem

I felt glade that I stopped once to ask myself

what joy meant

to remind reason

that it was not home

I was going

where fond friends

look for me

waiy for my arrival

Mrs. Fairfax

will smile

a calm welcome

little Adele

will clap her hand

jump to see you

but know you are thinking

of other then they

that he is not thinking of you

Jane Eyre, Charlotte Bronte
