The River

Location

The river crossed the dirt stream
Water filled the veins of the soul
It took a deep breath
A baby taking its first gasp.

Rubber and plastic crushed him
Struggling, it cried out
However, the cries were in vain
and the river crossed the dirt stream

This poem is about:
Me
My country
Our world
