You left when I was so young... I didn't really understand it.
My heart was left numb, my mind on another planet.
I remember the days where your smile made gray skies turn blue.
I remember the times that you made me get through.
I hope you know, I love you.
That flu just had to take you,
but in your spirit I know it did not shake you or break you..
I just wish you were still here.
I wish I could hug you one last time.
I wish I never had to say goodbye.
You're my brother, and you better know it.
You're the one who inspired my dream of becoming a poet.
When you left, I went crazy.
I couldn't be controlled.
I was like a girl jumping into an open road.
Since then, I've gotten better.
The word 'Depression' is just another to remember.
My smile has grown bigger,
only because I know, without you I would be nowhere,
and I think I'm gonna get somewhere in this life.
Thank you, Bryce.
YOU ARE MISSED.
