The Ring

The Ring

No one ever thinks about what binds them

What forms their moral diadem

No one but him

Something is always there to remind

Whenever it slips from the back of his mind

There are worlds separate from his own

And that his reality remains an unknown

A perpetuated enigma

A song that’s heard but not listened to

A dance done unbeknownst to you

Under all the perpetual fog

He repeats the same monologue

Exist; but do no harm

In a world where that’s all words do

When no one tries to understand you
