I see rainbows burst through the sky

And have the sudden urge to run and cry

They all laugh and they say, "dont even try"

And I say, "oh why, god, why?"

Sometimes I think its better to lie

Instead of thinking, "who is that guy?"

I dont think I can take this anymore

Everyday life shouldnt be such a chore

I always think I was meant for more

Its about time I even the score

The way these people treat me I greatly deplore

Are they ready for me, that was only prewar

No longer will I be quiet and sit tight

And not even try to fight

They are all only flea bites

All whom it will be so fun to spite

I wont scurry away in fright

Because I see a future, one oh so bright

Those who are like me, we will raise to new heights

And we will all fight for lgbt rights
