being righteous

is about being right and just

people toss that word around like dumping dirty clothes in the laundry

where in actuality people air their own dirty laundry

by committing to acts that contradicts god's teachings

and look to other forms of idols that falsify images of fake gods

for example

the psychic readings that predicts your future

you're paying money to scam artists who practice witchcraft

or in spanish as i always say

las brujas

or even better

do you remember Clea?

you know the fake jamaican that falsifies different accents in intimidation of foretelling what will happen hereafter

in stealing money as a consecration in believing other forms of power that is abusive, and not empowerment

why would you pay some ransom stranger who wears a mask of deceit 

where true power comes from the only one that never tells lies

god himself doesn't charge to pray and seek for him

his unfailing love he have for all

is undeniable

but you abandon him, this is why he abandons you

being righteous 

is about doing what's right

telling the truth about how dirty the world really is

not because of God

He created two worlds-the heaven and the earth

a place where we need to multiply, preserve our legacy to the next generation

but instead

generations got lost 

due to corruptions, due to crimes, due to hatred

born into a sinful world

where kids know how to lie at the age of two

don't say you're righteous

if you don't know how to spell it

or understand its meaning of righteousness

becuase in all realness

the newness

of me bury my old self

cleansing myself of all sins

stifle condemnation

and being born to newness of life when i resurrect

like Jesus who rose three days after crucifixion for sacrificing his life for all our sins

it is only RIGHT

that i'm not only a Man Of God

but a man of righteousness

who will do what's right

am i perfect? absolutely not

well, according to the world i'm not

but to God

i'm all perfection because He accepts my imperfections

and when i'm wrong

i repent my sins, god forgives me, forgets all about it

His salvation brings me peace

my spiritual growth will help me see things clearer

winning souls will prove that being righteous is about right and just
