What I Would Change

The Right

I would change the world we live in

End needless deaths this horrible sin,

You can no longer tote a gun

Playing with death saying it’s fun,

Are you a police officer or a member of the military

Then having a gun is not really necessary,

Change your mind change your mindset

Do you remember the line Jesus Wept,

The law is for the lawless but the right to bear arms

Has cause generation after generation to much harm,

So let’s change the future right here right now

We must stop selling guns some way somehow,

Change is inevitable but will we embrace it

For the right to bear arms they will surely picket

But I would change this right huh really a plight

Against innocent people from those with narrow sight

So my thought you see is to end gun violence

No more pow pow pow, disrupting beautiful silence,

No more Sandy Hook, VA Tech or Columbine

Just going to school getting educated and coming home fine

This is the change that I have in mind.
