Riches

I used to think that there was nothing more to life than greed

three-story house, fast car, brand-name clothes

were all I’d need

if you asked me then, I would have believed

that stepping on folks was the way to succeed

lofty trips on big ships

would help me to breathe

little did I know

no matter how far you go

the world is worth nothing

if you lose your soul

so I’ve searched long and hard

for something greater than gold

and man, I think I’ve found them

these riches untold

they're here, it's my family

and they make me whole
