Respect The Womb
Wombs.
It’s where we all come from
And it would be wise to
Respect
Them.
Too many times
It’s taken upon
Men
To neglect
Them.
Degrade them.
And even
Rape them.
Like women ain’t the ones
Who
Birthed them.
Where’d they
Come from?
As if we don’t take it
upon ourselves
To bear them,
To nurture them,
And to love them.
Us,
Wo-men.
Yet it’s known,
It takes a strong woman
To raise a strong man.
One who’s not going to
Belittle
Or be spiteful
Of what a woman
Can’t or can.
Rather candor
About
Our equivalences.
Instead of using rude dismiss-es.
Why not
Banter
For us?
To reflect,
To praise,
To debate,
For the same
Admiration
That a Queen
Should have.
And a king
Would have.
Receiving this
Mutual respect.
Is a simple
Request;
For as long as
the womb
Blooms
And a
Mother
Projects.
