The renewing of my mind would not be an easy feat

18 years of conditioning will be a struggle to reverse

18 years of thinking that I was never enough;

good enough, smart enough, pretty enough

Well I've had enough

It's time to change some things about my life

It's time to change the people I surround myself with

Even so, only I can give myself the affirmation

that I so desperately need

Even though it may not be easy
