Remembrance
Location
Choking on saliva,
Pinching at skin,
Praying it will all one day
Work out and never have to
Look in the crystal pool
With a sorrow unmatched
By the saddest of songs.
Watching all the perfect girls
Glide over the surface with
Carefree and happiness
That can never be owned
Without paying the price.
Head pressed to porcelain
With only a smile to keep it going.
A flame from inside pushes
The bad and evil out.
You put it there;
You must pay for it.
Life is not easy,
You must work for all you want.
Even if it kills you.
At least they will not
Remember you like this.
They will not remember you at all.
