Remember the Night

Remember the Night

She went to that party, she took that first drink,

She forgot about life, and drank the next drink.

The bottle made her unstoppable, it made her the best,

It made her heart beat, beat too fast in her chest.

The ground left beneath her feet, all she wanted was to sleep.

Her friends didn’t agree, so they gave her one more,

And there she was, drinking drink number four,

The night went on, and so did the drinks,

She crashed on the couch, when she was too drunk to think,

And just before eight, the cops banged on the door,

Everyone left, but there she just stayed,

She wouldn’t get up to not remember her night,

She wouldn’t get up, cause she gave the bottle her life.
