Remember me as I was

Daddy's little girl was perfect, playful, pretty, and looked just like mommy

she waited for daddy to come home from work every single day, he was never late

his little girl always asked what his tattoos meant and they always had a story

Daddy always showed his little girl all the sweet, surene, songs that she loved to hear

Daddy's little girl loved to ride with daddy on his Harley motorcycles, day or night

She was always so stuck on finding things to make daddy smile

His little girl tells all her friends that she has the best Daddy

Daddy loved his precious little girl so much he would pay to send her to California each summer

to be with grandma and grandpa

Daddy's little girl had that same spot in her heart for Daddy's parents, though she still wanted to be home with Daddy

But this Summer was strange, Daddy's little girl wasnt allowed to go home early

Daddy wouldn't talk to his little girl on the phone and mommy kept calling Grandma

Daddy wrecked his motorcycle

Daddy's litle girl saw Daddy wrapped up in bandaids and funny boots

He acted silly, and he never rememered anything his little girl said to him the day before

Daddy's little girl didn't like how broken Daddy was, but she took care of him

But it seemed like Daddy wasn't getting better

His bandages were gone and his cuts were scarred now but he said he was still sick

Daddy yells now and he tells his little girl he likes her little brother more, day and night.

Daddy's little girl is Mommy's angel now, she doesn't like being around Daddy

Mommy wakes up her little girl late one night because daddy has been drinking with his pills

Daddy blames everything on the little girl and she thinks he's right

Mommy's little girl is sad and scared and Mommy is never home

Daddy tells his little girl she needs to pack her bags and leave, Daddy's little girl thinks this is love

Daddy makes Mommy and her little girl move away

Mommy's little girl doesn't know what she did wrong

Daddy won't leave her little girl alone, he says vicious, vile, villainous things to her

But Mommy's little girl thinks she can fix it all, she still loves her Daddy

The little girl isn't so little anymore, she had to grow up fast because her Daddy wouldn't

Daddy told the girl she would never make it out of High School, she would be a loser

The girl swears to all her friends at school that he used to be a good Daddy

Now the little girl has scars on her heart, Daddy forgets about her and she's happy

The little girl graduated from High School, she plans to get married and have kids

She wants to go to college and be better than her Daddy

Now Daddy's little girl is somebody 's woman, and Daddy is a miserable shell of a man that used to be amazing.
