Religiousness

Ephesians 4:14

14 So we are no longer to be children, tossed back and forth by waves and carried about by every wind of teaching by the trickery of people who craftily carry out their deceitful schemes.

Uncertainty spreads like wildfire driven by strong winds.

Winds of doctrine ... implemented by religious men

Truth then is discarded ... and quickly swept aside

While confusion rules the day ... as only through self it can.

Even among the best of them, this infection takes hold.

Driven by the flesh ... the Spirit then is quenched.

Things that are detrimental become a common cause

as fear feeds the flames and all is in that drenched.

Association with the weak ... will just make one weaker.

Engulfed in this world ... it will only bring worldliness.

Then with little faith ... one will be rendered faithless

And so times roll on ... with an artificial sense of happiness.
