Religion

It is hard to conceive,

What humans can not perceive.

From undead beings,

To god-like deities.

Although incomprehensible

Through science and worship,

We blindly follow,

Spreading our beliefs.

Thoughts of a greater existence

Run our lives.

Forever questioning

The ways of our lord

And the methods of his ways.

Even if God is surreal,

We would still believe.

Coming from a Catholic,

This seems obscene.

We follow scriptures

Thousands of years aged,

Encapsulated in morals,

It becomes nothing unique.

Because of most beliefs

The world practices henotheism.

The ironic part is

We heathenized ourselves.
