Reflections on the Brink
God's breath of fresh air
envelopes All with his warm hands
The frosty steel shackles
Shatter
The gentle swaying
and rustling
and chirping
are the only children of the star now
Eyelids fluttering
life bursting with crimson liquid
Mother was in a deep slumber
However, her eyes have now been opened
Is it Peace?
Sweet temptation beckoning
Golden droplets of honey-coated words
Midnight viruses diffusing slowly out of the core
The sparkling light is For
The ones left behind
Thoughts of the meaning of life
Seconds ticking by
The disappearance of life
As well as the appearance of newfound memories
Day breaks out.
