Reflections

Walking to class in my flannel

Rocking that 5 – panel

I stay as strong as enamel

Some act like animals

And I mull their misconceptions

Of judging others’ perceptions and perfect imperfections

They lack the affection for those who face rejection

They could use some self-reflection, they should take a course

An intro to introspection and remorse

Of course, their throats grow coarse

As they try to find the source

Of this negative force that makes their minds

Commit these social crimes all the time

They think I’m odd, like a prime

Number, but I’m anti-cumbersome

Sometimes I wonder if the sum of us all

Is social harmony or harming me
