The color of her face when you lean in for a kiss

The color of those divine lips

The color of your face when you hold her hand

The color of life, of arteries and veins

The color of rage and hate

The color of the scream that tears your throat

The color of the wronged

The color of the passionate

The color when she’s there

The color when she’s with another

The color you want to spill

The color of bully-juice

Is not the color of the consequences, but the color of your actions.

Paint the town- paint it black or brown,

Paint it yellow, lavender, green or blue,

But don’t you dare paint it red

Or it’ll haunt you.
