Recovery

earliest rays find the absent spaces, to peak in a window pane

eyelids fight the disruptive rays, but bouncing signals in the brain awake

ghosts departe, the darkness dispersing in primitive light

fresh air to course my body, new valor to rise and fight

because the most minescule gleam, drives the pessimism away

I will rise and move into my body and welcome in the day

because embracing the impending uncertainty is the only way, I've found

to detain the demons in their deepest hiding place, underground
