The Rebirth... Witness

Mon, 07/20/2020 - 11:51 -- Wizdome

Getting up out of the mud washing off dry crusty dirt, cleansing my

mind and thoughts of all bitterness and all hurts...

I forgive you...

Even though it’s the hardest thing in this world for one to do, I

forgive you, for turning your back on me when I was broken and my

heart would bleed, for NEVER standing up for me nor taking my side...

I forgive you...

For every time I fell down and rose my hand for you to help me up,

just for you to walk away Basically saying you don’t care looking

Past me as if I’m not even there so busy trying to move on

up, up, up forgetting who helped you get there, up You go...

I forgive you...

For every time you had me believing you had my back but instead was

standing there with a knife sliding it in like it was butter, then wiping

the blood off the blade as if you never touched it, and I never saw it

coming, too bust living on your pipe dreams...

I forgive you...

Bear witness to a new me, for the me of old would have retaliated,

your character assassinated, vengeance would have been mine for

all the things you did to me you crossed the line, something that you

can never take back, but I learned to walk away..

Wishing you nothing but the best as asinine as that seems for I will no

longer block my blessings, while trying to help you obtain your dreams...

So...

I forgave you...

This is...

The rebirth...

Of ME...

Bear...

Witness...
