The Real World

Locations

Teachers will teach,

but what do we learn?

The deception of life is all that I've earned.

"It'll be a lot harder in the real world" they say,

but what is "the real world" if we've not seen a day.

To most teachers I expose you for the fraud,

still stuck in high school, acting as a god.

Demanding respect from us students,

who don't have any to give.

The grave was made for you

because you've never lived

a day in our shoes.

These Nikes' bleed for help

from a kind soul,

or a bottle on the top shelf.

We don't know what to do

we've continued our cause.

You're still on the pedestal

waiting to hear the applause.
