The Real Me

It is only after I take off the filter when I actually see myself.

With a filter I'm just another mold of society,

Without societies filter,

I'm who I want to be.

No questions asked.

When there's no filter,

You can truly see me.

The Good, The Bad, The Ugly,

And not only what society wants me to be.

When there's no filter,

You can hear me speak truly.

The words and sounds that are actually me.

When there's no filter,

You can get my mind racing.

The thoughts, the colors, the ideas.

When there's no filter,

I can be free.

When there's no filter,

I can be me.
