Psalm 19:14 

14 May my words and my thoughts be acceptable in Your sight,

O Lord, my sheltering Rock and my Redeemer.

 

Jesus not a way out ... He is the Way in

 

After years of reading ... I finally got to write again

Strange since I’ve been reading ... I did not spill many tears

Kind of strange I think ... for reading is not meditation,

but I never realized that ... and that brings many fears

 

Were all the times spent reading ... the ones I thought meditation?

Was this not to bring me closer to God ... as I thought it did?

Is that what it is? ... There is a time for reading

and a time for meditation ... the latter being bliss?

 

Yes! In concentration ... and to accomplish what is needed

Although the goals set by self ... cannot be inspiration

Still it worked for good ... if God so decided

for He brings all together through simple observation

 

In one Spirit and in one Christ ... is where the reborn reside

If we are deeply committed ... there won’t be secrets here

What others mostly think about ... and their deep concerns

will be exposed to all reborn ... in a Godly atmosphere

 

No force can bring disarray ... no one can separate

what God joins together in Christ ... He will hold together

All it takes from our side ... is hope through obedience

and resting in the Hand of God ... Who wills “our” faith in Heaven
