Reaching for the Finish Chute

As I run this cross country race, I try to dream about other things important to me. I sprint past other runners, trying to gain a lead. Other runners are trying to push me out of the way, so I push them right back. I am now passing the first mile mark with people sheering all around me. I begin to pick up the pace once i pass the second mile mark. I want to show my coach how badly I want to win this race. Other runners are beginning to catch up to me. I tell them it will not happen as I sprint towards that finish chute. I run through the finish chute acheiving a new personal record with my coaches, family, and friends cheering for me all around. I have conquered that finish chute with fantastic results.
