Rain

Pitter Patter little drops
fall upon such hard rocks
pitter patter little man
does all that he himself can
he goes to work, he never swears
he never gets promoted only misses it by a few hairs
pitter patter little man
falls off from wherever he can
pitter patter little man
no longer can he stand
pittler patter little drops
landed on the man's cheek right on that very spot
its okay said the world to the little man
we all do the best that we can
just remember when you are down
whenever it rains across this town
all people cry in the rain, they weep
so that all of man might have a good nights sleep
pitter patter little man
dream, please dream of a better land
