Raindrops kiss my face

And in this pour I dance

Tuck these flowers in a vase

And through fields I prance.

These days are full of glad

And laughter is never far;

Happiness can be had.

Wounds these days do not mar

Nor are tears a sight to see.

Wipe your eyes and look:

For rain is here to be.

A healing thing, this brook.

So don't mind the cloud

Or these darker skies

Their message is loud:

With rain, nothing cries.
