Quiet 2

Ecclesiastes 9:17

Wisdom versus Fools, Sin, and Folly

17 The words of the wise are heard in quiet,
more than the shouting of a ruler is heard among fools.

Quiet

I did not want to mention this but the door is almost closed

It is really not there to escape but to protect the faithful

An area of protection that is guarded from above

Developed but not ornate as peace there is plentiful

A quiet and serene place to go and catch your breath

While the storms of life are boiling and foaming

No permanent space not even at your best

A timely escape from inner-strife when the flesh is roaming

Delivered for a moment to catch a breath of two

Then to get involved again in life’s soft appraisal

To tell others about the Atonement and what Christ can do

What it’s really like to be set free from depravity’s survival
