questions for my mother

Location

Who are you?
Mother or monster?
protector or predator?
do you offer me warm embraces?
or grasps of pain?
do you smile when I'm sad?
or do you grimace in guilt?
on a good day, I'll never know the real you.
But that's ok,
because on a bad day, I get the real you ten fold.
