Questioning Yourself

Thu, 09/01/2016 - 11:11 -- Jarel

If welcomed into the arms of the people of talkWould it put you at easeDoes it make you growWould it fuel youWould you trade your friends For a famousWould your memories be betterOr stripped from destinyFrom being clouded by from anotherWould the distance be the same from your actual callingWould the speaking of your calling be lost in the depth of your own want instead of needHow would your privacy be perceived If every mirror you looked at had thousands of people looking back at youWould you be comfortableCould you walk down your path without shying away Could you inhabit all of the negativity that your friends say about your pathWould you believing that you are with the top make you believe in yourselfOr would the top shove you down lower than the bottomWould you question your human existence if someone on the top told you less of youHow tough would you be if your idol discussed youWhat happens when you get questioned how you do thingsHow much of your world would drop on your head if your family disagreed with itWould you pick up the pieces that were shattered by your doubtCould you start over knowing that no one would help youIn the mist of fighting a battle for 12 rounds would suck it up and fight 1 or 2 more to get more belief in youWhat would you question to know yourself.
