A Question

His eyes peeked through his eyelashes

Each individually asking a question

To her

At her

Ended those question marks with

An exclamation mark

Her period was clear and firm

His fingers walked to the edge of her nails

Each individually hanging on

To her

At her

Letting them fall

Letting lonesome feel them

Her hand ran away

"Hi," he said.

His hi slipped uner her heart

Carring the weight of her beatings

His hi chased the butterflies

Wihtout stopping until they landed on him

His hi reached her smile

Until her cheeks yelled mercy

She laughed.

And her laugh was a question

He wanted to spend his whole life answering.
