Pyromania

Location

I inhale embers and spit fire.
You're fireproof.
Wishing in vain you'd be engulfed by the pyre.
You're fireproof.
Say it ain't so that when the lights turn low the fire doesn't light the room.
Say it ain't true that when I turn to you that you don't disappear altogether.
Spirit of the fire, body up in flames
thoughts are burned to ashes, we'll never be the same.
Flame engulfing flame into fiery depths
Stealing away everything with every last breath
All for nothing, the insides wept
in its wake, nothing was left
Thrown to the winds, left to decay
Everything that ever was, was all swept away
