Puzzled

I am labeled with words,

Shy, reserved, quiet,

And I am judged,

For not going out more,

Not having a plethora of friends.

I don’t think before I speak,

But I say what I mean,

I don’t waste my breath

On worthless words.

I understand the consequences

Of my actions,

And of my lack of actions.

I am able to find a sense of

Contentment when I’m by myself,

And enjoy being surrounded,

By knowledge filled words.

I’d rather study than go out,

I’d practice than party,

I am restrained to outsiders

But loud to friends.

I am a puzzle to everyone,

Even myself.
