Puzzle piece box

Every morning
I look in the mirror
At who I am
I'm sure to cover every bit
Until I'm unrecognizable
Wouldn't want anyone to know
My curls
My skin
My curves
Every part that is perceived flawed
Is brushed away
Pressed
hidden
And be sure to smile
So no one knows what you're feeling
And strap up the heels
So they can't tell how down you really are
And be sure
They can't really see
Your personality
That doesn't fit
In to the puzzle pieced box around
You
The mirage
The unveiled prize
And don't look at them too long
They might see your real eyes
