Pursuit of Happiness

I have a want inside me
Not for anything in particular
Just a want, a need, eating away inside me
And I can almost guarantee that nothing will fill it.

It’s natural, it’s normal
We will always want, we will always need.
It is the pursuit that is happiness, not the destination.
No, the success, that ending happiness;
It dies quickly.
