Proverbs 3:7-8            New English Translation

 

7 Do not be wise in your own estimation;

fear the Lord and turn away from evil.

8 This will bring healing to your body,

and refreshment to your inner self.

 

Purposeful

 

We do not be to be delivered from sickness but from self

What we lack is not healing but Holiness Himself

The Lord has simply written: “Be not anxious about your life”

What God wants to accomplish is for you to be whole and well

 

A natural way of healing should be the first option

Don’t reach for a bottle of pills if there is no deep need

Agree with God’s purpose for you have discomfort

And don’t mind to suffer if it is with God’s speed

 

Always be attentive to the simple needs

Always keep priorities in proper perspective

The use of nutrients is not contradictory

To faith or dependence on God to be effective
