Pure

Tasted now, a love so pure
Sugar sweet, a cyder rich
A love by no other name,
Which can be called this
It's warmth embraces, even the distant
A flame, a light, burning deep
The darkest of hearts can not escape
For it is not to be outdone
It seeks the lost, replenishes the blessed
It is that is
Love, pure and undeniable
Sweet as syrup, thick in its grasp... We are
By choice or reason we can not deny
This love that names the stars
Pure as priceless gold
Finer still, it calls
To you, and I
Showing no bias, and giving no quarter
Extended to all,
None are deserving
For it alone… is pure
