Puppets

Ecclesiastes 3:15 New King James Version (NKJV)

15 That which is has already been,
And what is to be has already been;
And God requires an account of what is past.

The hidden past

Perception of things gone by ... failure visualized

All things now appear to be ... how it then appeared

We seem to know so little of illusionary true reality

In our past even worse as life rushed far and near

It is too late to change right now ... all deeds chiseled in stone

The rains of time washed away the sharp edges of pains and hurt

Why was blindness a chosen idol that crept deep into the bone?

As it gnawed at the foundation that I built somehow alone

Now I seem to understand ... the past was filled with puppets

Always observing me and mine to bring down what I thought I had

Now when least expected the past at times to surface

To catch me off guard somehow to expose my long lost purpose
