Scripture and verses 

like a wildfire emmerses 

me, pulls me in and curses 

all the things trying to come against me 

What am I saying? 

I mean it's a guide 

don't wander 

stay close and stay somber 

Father who art in heaven 

hallowed be thy name 

I put His words in frames 

hang them on the windowpane 

What guides me? 

Your light 

your words 

are a path 

when evil comes to try and snatch away 

my joy and my peace 

I stay sane 

because His word guides me 

It is my mentor 

When everything else fails 

I open His word 

I find Him in it
