The Proletarian Revolt

To know thyself

is to self destruct

out of luck

Crying out in newborn desperation

People watch in fascination

Called to discrimination

Ears filled with litigation

One nation

screams for justice

but all is for not

Nothing comes to be

from a suffering scream

It starts with a fiery, rebel yell

Claiming to be a rebel with reason

The world will shout out treason

Some will move toward humility

from their humane root

bearing the fruit

the gift

of a societal rift
