Present self ...

Isaiah 26:3 “You will keep him in perfect peace

whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts

in You”.

Philipians 4:6 “Be anxious for nothing and sin not,

but in everything by prayer and supplication with

thanksgiving let your request be known to God”.

Prevent a restless mind ... this is the call of duty

Only concentrate on goals ... that God reveals to you

Don’t worry about the outcome ... for that is guaranteed

By the Lord, Almighty ... Who knows what to do

Don’t let your thoughts be empty ... and your mind be idle

Think about what is good ... and acceptable to Christ

Fill your heart with Him ... and give your time and effort

For life is like a vapor ... and temporal just a sigh

Philipians 4:8 “whatever things are true, noble, just and pure,

lovely of good report, if there is any virtue praise worthy,

meditate on these things”.

Meditate on what is right ... and do this day and night.

You know not how much time is left for you to understand.

Deep within your heart ... are written all the virtues

So no excuse is taken ... on the way to the Promised Land.

Where does meditation start? ... It seems really so simple.

Start thinking about what is true ... and what is just and pure

Lovely things and what is good ... and not about what is rotten

For the world is full of that ... but you need to endure

Praise the Lord for what ... you have discovered in Christ Jesus

Thank Him for what you have ... and the Life He gives

Life is but a whisper ... and misery won’t last

And when the day is over ... it rests on the life you’ve lived
